Gormley to unveil carbon budget

Minister for the Environment John Gormley is set to announce Ireland’s second carbon budget later today.

It is expected he will outline the Government’s plan to reduce carbon dioxide emissions, and plans to drive towards a sustainable energy economy

Minister Gormley is due to provide further information on Minister Linehan’s Budget announcements yesterday. such as an increase in funding for sustainable energy programmes in Ireland.
